The product, screen by screen

This tour follows the rail and the tabs exposed by the running product. Every image is an unretouched capture from a credential-free local demo build of the current default branch.
An empty result is not always an empty business state. When a read is unavailable, GreatBook says Unavailable, Inconclusive, or Not fully known instead of turning a missing response into a reassuring zero.

The surface inventory

Forms: the Typewriter

The Typewriter begins with a schema registry rather than a blank canvas. The same schema drives the form and the live document preview.
Typewriter document picker showing 146 available document types

The document picker exposes all 146 schema-backed document types available in this build.

Typewriter document picker filtered to invoice document types

Search narrows the registry by the visible Vietnamese name, key, or number.

Typewriter Documents list showing an approved supplier VAT invoice and its submit action

A saved and separately approved document is visible in the Documents list; the next handoff is still a distinct action.

The local-demo compose-and-sign views are in The golden path, and the source controls are in Refusals and revisions. They are not evidence of an end-to-end Typewriter run against the production agent service.

Books

Overview

Books Overview showing seven native record families with unavailable and not fully known states

Books Overview names seven native record families and shows their freshness and completeness separately.

Native family details

Each Overview card opens the family’s authoritative registers and control-account tie-outs. The family route is also where completeness and freshness remain separate conclusions.
Books family detail refusing a read because accounting-link coverage did not reconcile every authoritative structure

Settlement is shown here. Inventory costing, Payroll, and Loans / treasury returned the same refusal: the family read could not reconcile every authoritative structure.

Consolidation family detail refusing malformed control-account tie-out facts

Consolidation refuses for a different reason: malformed control-account tie-out facts.

VAT and statutory tax family detail separating complete structure from unavailable freshness and lineage counts

VAT and statutory tax can read its family shape, while lineage counts remain unavailable until freshness is established.

Adjustment notes family detail showing its immutable adjustment notes register and unavailable freshness

Adjustment notes exposes its immutable native register under the same honesty rules.

The two family structures that were reachable in this demo also have their own record screens. Neither calls an inconclusive empty register a genuine zero.
Tax entries native register withholding an empty-register claim because freshness is inconclusive

Tax entries has no row from which to establish freshness, so the empty-register claim is withheld.

Immutable adjustment notes register withholding an empty-register claim because freshness is inconclusive

Immutable adjustment notes makes the same distinction for its own source clock.

Review

Books Review inbox with zero current rows

Review is the human intake queue. This demo state has no rows to act on.

Settlements and connector tasks

Settlements register showing an inconclusive read and no browser authority

Settlements refuses an empty verdict when its read authority is unavailable: the result is Inconclusive.

Connector tasks tab showing read-only scope, write-back off, and no returned tasks

Connector tasks is a scope read only. The screen states that write-back is off and that no tasks were returned.

Matching

Matching has four independent facets. Each one keeps missing evidence visible rather than inferring that a chain is complete.
Settlement matching facet showing an inconclusive evidence state

Settlement matching is inconclusive because no statement evidence was available.

Procure-to-pay matching facet showing chain coverage as inconclusive

Procure to pay does not make a complete-chain claim without the required records.

Order-to-cash matching facet showing chain coverage as inconclusive

Order to cash reports the same absence independently for its own evidence chain.

Float matching facet showing chain coverage as inconclusive

Float matching remains inconclusive rather than manufacturing a match from no evidence.

Ledger and evidence

Ledger Transactions tab with zero events

Transactions is the canonical event view; this local demo has no events in the selected scope.

Ledger Legacy balances tab separating legacy accounts payable and cash balances

Legacy balances are visibly quarantined from canonical events.

Ledger Reconciliation tab showing partial cash coverage and matched accounts payable

Reconciliation reports coverage by rail; partial cash coverage is not promoted to complete.

Books Evidence tab showing review needed and no reconciliation claim

Evidence says Review needed and explains that no suggestions do not prove reconciliation.

Statements and planning

Income statement tab for the selected period

Income statement is one of three statement tabs.

Balance sheet tab showing the statement as balanced

Balance sheet keeps the balancing verdict next to the reported values.

Cash flow statement tab for the selected period

Cash flow is presented as its own statement, not inferred from the other two.

Budget versus actual planning tab showing the pipeline as unavailable

Budget versus actual is unavailable because its pipeline is not wired; the screen says so directly.

Forecast planning tab showing the pipeline as deferred

Forecast is also unavailable and names the deferred pipeline instead of displaying an empty forecast.

Accounting

Accounting is a read-oriented desk over close, analysis, workpapers, and the same Statements and Planning surfaces shown above.
Accounting Close tab with no checklist result and no ready verdict

Close has no checklist result in this demo and does not turn that absence into a ready verdict.

Accounting Analysis tab with no published dimension definitions

Analysis exposes the dimension catalogue and says when no definitions have been published.

Accounting Allocations tab in a read-only zero-fact state

Allocations is explicitly read-only in this surface.

Accounting Costing tab in a read-only zero-fact state

Costing is also read-only and reports the facts it actually received.

Accounting Adjustments tab with no current adjustment facts

Adjustments keeps proposed work separate from posted ledger events.

Audit

Audit Exceptions register showing zero findings and nothing silenced

Exceptions is the assurance finding register; this demo has no findings and nothing silenced.

Checks exposes the generated catalogue of 104 Close checksums and their classifications.
Audit Sweeps tab showing scheduled sweep families and no recent runs

Sweeps shows the scheduled assurance families and makes the absence of recent runs explicit.

Audit Actions human task list with zero current tasks

Audit Actions is the human worklist over findings, separate from the agent-run inbox on the rail.

Files

Timeline was reachable, but its local demo rows contained an identity on the retired product domain. That capture is withheld rather than edited.
Files Folders view showing a payables folder, an unfiled upload, and unavailable reconciliation

Folders keeps unfiled evidence visible and reports that the external mirror was not scanned.

Actions

Actions agent-run inbox with zero returned runs

The rail-level Actions page is the run ledger for agent work; no runs were returned in this demo scope.

Dev

Dev capability browser showing registry discovery as unavailable

The capability browser refuses discovery when its registry endpoint is not configured.

The Dev connector surface is intentionally not pictured here. This walkthrough does not represent an OAuth connector as available before it is activated.
